A private transfer is a pre-booked, chauffeur-driven vehicle reserved solely for your party. Pre-booked private transfer drivers wait for you at a specific meeting point and take you directly to your preferred destination. Prices for private transfers are per vehicle, not per passenger.

We advise you to make your transfer reservations as early as possible, especially if you plan to travel from May to September and on weekends. For long trips (e.g. Athens to Lefkada) please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance. For simple transfers (e.g. Athens Airport to Athens city center) you may reserve a vehicle 2 days before.

Send us your transfer request by filling the quotation form on the website, via email at info@citytransfer.gr or through the chat. Please be sure that you have noted the correct travel date, time, number of passengers, pick-up/ drop-off points and email address. We will respond back with our rates, available vehicle options and remarks. A quotation request is free of charge.

If you agree with the price and general terms, confirm the service by simply replying to our message. In order to finalize the booking process, we will request all passengers’ full names, flight info, one mobile number.

Yes, infants count as passengers. Please keep in mind that they cannot travel on another passenger’s lap; they need a special seat. CityTransfer offers child/ booster seats for children up to 5 years old, without additional charges.

No, they cannot. All passengers under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, we do. Our drivers monitor all flights and ferries, in order to check if you are going to arrive earlier, on time or with a possible delay. Some of the apps we use are FlightRadar24 and myshiptracking.

Pick-up from Athens International Airport

Our driver will be waiting at the arrival hall, inside the airport, holding a sign with your name. Hall A is dedicated to non-Schengen international flights, whereas Hall B serves inter-Schengen flights and domestic destinations.

Pick-up from a Port

Our driver will be waiting at the port gate, close to the vessel, holding a sign with your name.

Pick-up from your Hotel

Our driver will be waiting at the entrance of your accommodation. If your hotel is located at a pedestrian zone or a narrow street and vehicle cannot enter, we will set a different meeting point nearby.

Prices are final and there are no hidden charges. Rates include all taxes, tolls, fuel, chauffeur services and car rental. Cost is per vehicle and not per person.

Our rates do not include tips for the drivers. If you are satisfied with the service received from your chauffeur, you can tip around 10% of your total charge. This is entirely at your discretion.

You can pay with cash or debit/ credit card, directly to the driver. For long trips or last-minute reservations, we might request a full prepayment through our online payment link. We use the Viva.com Pay by Link service.

In general, services cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival/ pick-up time, are refunded in full. Less than 24 hours before the transfer time, no refund will be made. In case of a no-show, no refund will be made.

Each transfer service is different. So, we might have adjusted the cancellation times specifically for your ride. E.g. 12 hours before travelling full refund. Check our email offer for more info.

Our vehicles are not designed to accommodate wheelchair users. They are not equipped with wheelchair ramps, lifts and safety straps.

Yes, you can travel with small cats and dogs. All animals must be placed inside their carrier during the transfer. We only accept pet containers/carriers specifically designed for transporting animals.

We accept no liability for items lost in the vehicle. However, customers who have forgotten something in the car are kindly asked to contact us immediately and we will do our absolute best to help.

f a lost item has been found and guests are staying in the center of Athens, we will leave the item to their hotel’s lobby in order to be collected (delivery scheduled according to our daily transportation program). If they have departed from Greece or have travelled outside Athens, we can send them the item by post – additional costs will be incurred. These costs must be borne by the customer and must be paid in advance before the item is sent.
